furthest yet
Today saw me run further than ever before. Eighteen miles done in exactly 4hour 30 mins pace. These runs really test you mentally and physically and I fully believe a lot of running is done in the head. Have tried a few new things including protein shakes in an effort to inprove the stiffness after such runs. I only have two really long runs left and need to find another eight miles!!!!!!

Protein shakes seems to have done the business-this morning I am free of stiffness. The only concern is the niggle in my groin area.
ReplyDeleteincorrectly posted two long runs-thats three, 20 miles,22 miles and 18 miles. The taper starts then with a "short" 12 miles and a nice little 8 miler. This weeks run will end with the twenty miles, 2 times 10 miles with mandy doing her bit around the second leg of ten miles.
